嘛，随便关于医院的一点事情。

这几天学校发了pad 给我们上公开课用，闲暇之余，我用它搜索了许多关于世界遗产的内容。
马耳他一共有三项世界遗产，其中之一便是瓦莱塔城，由医院骑士团大团长瓦莱特奠定基石，于1566年建成，至今仍是马耳他的首都。
UNESCO上对瓦莱塔有两段推荐：
Criterion (i): The city is pre-eminently an ideal creation of the late Renaissance with its uniform urban plan, inspired by neo-platonic principles, its fortified and bastioned walls modelled around the natural site and the voluntary implantation of great monuments in well-chosen locations.
Criterion (vi): The city is irrevocably affiliated with the history of the military and charitable Order of the Knights of St John of Jerusalem, which founded the city in 1566 and maintained it throughout two and a half centuries. Valletta is thus associated with the history of one of the greatest military and moral forces of modern Europe.

先不提医院对马耳他岛带去了什么样的影响。就光对于马耳他岛时期的医院，它大概过得既辉煌灿烂又浑浑噩噩，17世纪以来尤其如此。
维基上说医院是“14~17世纪中海上的赏金猎狗”，我大概明白了《医院骑士团全史》中，“海狗时代”的指向意义w。老哥你不行啊www
无论外部的原因还是骑士团它自己的原因，反正骑士团已经不可能再回去当地主国家了。嘛，不过好在，它熬过了动荡的19世纪，爬也爬回去罗马，在那里休养生息。后来总算意识到不忘初心、牢记使命的重要意义，把重心重新定义在人道主义援助上。不得不说这是一条正确的道路。
然后就是最近，因为16年底爆发的避○套的事件，费斯廷大团长把伯泽拉格尔大首相长给开了，后来伯泽拉格尔恢复原职，费斯廷大团长在教宗的要求下辞职。
这中间涉及到好多人物和事情，不过总的来说还是教会 保守派和革新派 之间的矛盾。说来话长，咱先不说了。
最近，在即将到来的5月2日与3日，骑士团将要选举新的大团长或是代理大团长（代理大团长任期一年，拥有大团长的一切权限帮助处理骑士团的事务）。
The Tablet 网站上刊发了许多关于此事的报道，最近的一篇，“The unfinished tale of the Knights of Malta” 中提到：
“The general hope or goal is to make the order fit for the future. Over the last almost 1,000 years the order has been able to reform or adapt itself in the course of that history, because it remained faithful to its mission,” he says. “The mission is expressed in the double motto "tuitio fidei et obsequium pauperum", to witness, nurture and defend the faith and to serve the needy. One of the characteristics of the order is that these two things are inseparable. ”
确实如此，“守卫信仰”与“援助苦难”，谁也离不开谁，彼此从不可以被分割。
无论从医院官方账号还是各种新闻报道上来看，改革势必会进行到底。
而无论5月份的选举结果如何，新上任的（代理）大团长都会领导骑士团深化改革。
“为了更好的适应未来——”
回顾历史，医院的发展与繁荣在于它忠于自己的使命，并不失时宜地改变自己； 医院的落后与失败也源于它没有忠于自己的使命，没有在合适地时间改变自己。
谁也不清楚前路，而在这漫长地探索中，时间不知不觉已经过去了那么久。
时代改变了许多，它也改变了许多，但它还是它自己。
